A freeze-drying project moves through defined stages so that capital is committed only after the material, quality targets and line configuration are understood.
The route
- Define. Record material, formulation, fresh input, finished-product targets, utilities and site constraints.
- Test. Run documented trials for freezing, drying endpoint, handling and repeatability.
- Size. Separate shelf area, fresh loading, water removal, cycle time and utilities to define the equipment.
- Configure. Agree the line scope, layout, controls and delivery deliverables in a proposal.
- Deliver and support. Confirm factory and site acceptance, installation, training and spare-parts scope as agreed.
What to prepare for an RFQ
- Material and formulation, with confidentiality level if relevant.
- Fresh input per batch or per day and target finished-product specification.
- Project stage, timing, factory location and available utilities.
- Packaging form and storage conditions.
Not every value needs to be final. We can help identify the missing data and the next trial or review step.
